Looking back over three decades, I am filled with gratitude for everyone who has contributed to this journey. What began with a clear vision—to build a specialist reinsurer founded on technical excellence, financial discipline, and long-term relationships—has evolved into a globally respected organization with a strong presence across multiple markets and a reputation built on consistency and trust.
Our success has never been measured solely by the volume of business we write. Instead, it has always been defined by the quality of our underwriting, the strength of our balance sheet, and our ability to navigate changing market conditions with prudence and integrity. These principles have guided every decision we have made over the past thirty years and remain the foundation upon which we will continue to build.
The results achieved during 2025 once again demonstrate the resilience of this approach. While we continued to reshape our portfolio in response to evolving market dynamics, our focus remained firmly on protecting long-term value rather than pursuing growth for its own sake. This disciplined strategy has allowed Barents Re to preserve its financial strength while positioning the company for sustainable future opportunities.
I am particularly proud of the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by our people across every office and business unit.
